OUR TEAM – LIZZY BRADSHAW
Lizzy moved to Cornwall with her family in 2015 and joined Jewell Podiatry in 2022. She has a wealth of clinical experience in all aspects of podiatry and specialises in arthritis care.
She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and went on to complete a master's degree in rheumatology-based podiatry at Brighton University. She began her career in 2004 working in the NHS, covering all aspects of podiatric care, then began to concentrate on rheumatology while working as part of an NHS multi-disciplinary team, which involved a mixture of new patient assessments, ulcer care, biomechanics and insole / orthotics prescribing, as well as specialist footwear clinics and nail surgery.
During a period of secondment to a service development role, Lizzy advised on the development and implementation of government strategies, including Essence of Care and Standards for Better Health.
From 2007-2009, Lizzy and a colleague initially volunteered, then coordinated and ran a podiatry service for Crisis, the charity supporting the homeless in London.
In her spare time, Lizzy can be found on the side of a rugby pitch as First Aider for one of the youth teams at Penryn RFC.
